Dr. Herzog completed his undergraduate education at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. He then worked as a research assistant before attending Sherman College of Chiropractic, where he graduated with high honors and was awarded his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.
Dr. Herzog has completed a three-year post graduate fellowship program in Orthopedics from the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. He is Board Certified and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists (DABCO). Dr. Herzog is a National Registry Certified Medical Examiner, for which he performs DOT exams.
He is a Certified Chiropractic Insurance Consultant (CCIC) and is utilized by the insurance industry as a medical reviewer and for specialty evaluations and opinions. Dr. Herzog has completed post graduate training in Manipulation under Anesthesia and is certified by the National Association of Manipulation Under Anesthesia Physicians. Dr. Herzog writes and lectures on Orthopedics for the chiropractic and legal professions. He has published many articles in various chiropractic journals. His writings have been published in peer reviewed medical journals including the prestigious Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics (JMPT).
He is a past adjunct faculty member of the University of Bridgeport's College of Chiropractic where he taught manipulation under anesthesia and lectured on assorted orthopedic topics. Dr. Herzog is also a past adjunct faculty member for Rowan College at Burlington County where he lectured and taught Anatomy and Physiology. Dr. Herzog has chosen to limit his practice to the neuro-musculoskeletal structures and remains abreast of the latest research and developments in his field through continuing education.
Dr. K. Ryan Hart was born and raised in Ocean County, NJ. Graduating with a bachelor's degree in biology from Stockton University, he moved to Connecticut where he earned his doctorate in chiropractic. While at the University of Bridgeport School of Chiropractic, his education focused on the importance of using published evidence to inform healthcare and rehabilitation decisions.
In addition to an externship in chiropractic neurology, Dr. Hart participated in UBSHS integrated clinic rotations to collaborate with students from multiple other disciplines on complex cases. After graduating he returned to South Jersey, joining Chiropractic Orthopedic Associates in 2017.
His other areas of study have included marine and evolutionary biology as well as agricultural science. In his spare time Dr. Hart is an accomplished pianist and vocalist, and donates his time to living history charities. He enjoys hiking and kayaking the NJ Pine Barrens with his wife and dogs.
Dr. Bowers grew up in northern New Jersey before attending Manhattan College where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She then attended Seton Hall University where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2014. Since then Dr. Bowers has focused her practice in the treatment of orthopedic and athletic injuries in a wide variety of patients from professional athletes to elderly adults. She has worked in several large area hospitals and enjoys the challenge of helping to restore function and overall health to her patients. She utilizes individualized functional movements, corrective exercise, modalities and manual therapy to address each patient’s deficits and help them to reach their full potential. When she is not working Dr. Bowers enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter as well as travel. She is conversational in Italian and Spanish.
Dr. Johnson grew up in Southern India before attending Tamil Nadu Medical University and then Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium where he earned his degree in Physical Therapy in 2003. Since then Dr. Johnson has focused his practice in the treatment of orthopedic and athletic injuries. He has worked as a research assistant in several large hospitals and stays abreast of advances in physical therapy through his continuing education. His extensive background includes treating neurological injuries such as concussions, stroke, and Parkinson's disease. He utilizes individualized functional movements, corrective exercise, modalities and manual therapy to address each patient’s deficits and help them to reach their full potential. When he is not working Dr. Johnson enjoys spending his free time as a pilot.
Bianca grew up in Neptune New Jersey before attending Star Academy where she earned her Certified Medical Assistant diploma in 2016. She completed her medical assistant externship in obstetrics/gynecology. She is certified in CPR, OSHA and phlebotomy. Bianca enjoys providing care to her patients and is focused on returning them to a pain free and optimally functional life style.
